Welcome!
I’m Jai Ramage, a freelance Vocal Coach with extensive experience working in TV, theatre, and the music industry.
With over 20 years of experience in vocal coaching, my TV credits include prime-time shows for BBC and ITV, such as The Voice UK, Voice Kids UK, Little Mix The Search, Starstruck, Change Your Tune, and Romeo & Duet. In the music industry, I’ve coached several successful pop artists and bands, guiding them from the very start of their creative journeys through to world tours and multiple albums. I hold a longstanding Vocal Coach role with Prestige Management, where I work with their bands and singers. Some of the artists I currently coach include The Vamps, New Hope Club, Soap, Henry Moodie, Keyside, Tom Speight, and Tommy Ashby. My career began as a performer in theatre, which now informs my work coaching singers for leading West End roles. I also consult for several top theatrical agencies and producers. I hold a Distinction Masters Degree in Professional Practice, specialising in Vocal Pedagogy, alongside a BA (Hons) degree in Humanities with Music. I’m also proud to be a Master Trainer in Estill Voice.
In addition to coaching, I manage a small roster of music artists, supporting them in all aspects of their development, branding, promotion, and strategy. I also collaborate with Rocket Science Music to manage a number of other artists.
My passion lies in empowering singers to elevate their careers by helping them reach their full artistic and technical potential.

In lots of auditions, particularly in TV talent show ones, you will be asked to perform an A cappella song. That means singing a song with no accompaniment. This is harder than it sounds! For the purposes of this Blog we are going to limit our A cappella song to a 60 second version.
